These terms cover your use of Atlas Tesserarum. By using the site you agree to them.
Using the atlas
The atlas is free to use for research, teaching and personal interest. Please don't
overload the service: automated access is not accepted and crawlers are blocked apart from search engine
indexing.

Accuracy
Art-historical data is incomplete and often disputed. We work to keep the atlas accurate but can't guarantee it, so check important facts against the linked sources before relying on them.
Data and licences
Data from Wikidata is available under CC0. Getty ULAN data is used under the Open Data Commons Attribution licence. RKD data is used under the RKD's own terms. The site's design, text and code are © Tesserarum and under a prorprietary license, not to be resused for any purpose without express permission.
Links to other sites
The atlas links to external sources. We aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of France.
