What we collect when you use the atlas, and what we do with it. In short: very little.
Who we are
Atlas Tesserarum is provided by the Tesserarum project. Privacy related queries can be directed to: [email protected].
What we collect
When you browse the site:
- Our server records standard request logs: IP address, browser, the page requested and the time.
- We set no cookies and run no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message.
How we use it
Logs are used only to keep the site secure and to diagnose faults, and are deleted after 30 days. Contact messages are used only to reply to you and are deleted after 12 months. This excludes any data that requires a longer legal timeframe, as govered by the laws of the Republic of France.
We never sell or share your data for marketing.
Legal basis
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on legitimate interests to keep request logs and to answer the messages you send us.
Third parties
The typeface is loaded from Bunny Fonts, so your browser requests font files from their servers, which see your IP address. The site is hosted by [hosting provider].
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the CNIL or your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the side of this page will change with it.
